Seven years ago today, my wife Katie underwent breast cancer surgery. Today, we celebrate her strength, her courage, and the grace that carried her through. Grateful for every moment since and for the incredible woman she continues to be.

I will be proposing a National Day of Remembrance for Charlie Kirk. He championed free speech, civil dialogue, faith, and in his passing, will forever symbolize the best of America. I want future generations of American children to know his name forever.

Together we remember.

I’m pleased to announce that I am appointing Secretary Shevaun Harris, who has been leading the Florida Department of Children and Families, to become the new Secretary of the Agency for Health Care Administration. I am also appointing Taylor Hatch, current Secretary of Florida’s Agency for Persons with Disabilities, to fill Shevaun’s role as the new Secretary of the Department of Children and Families. Both Secretaries Harris and Hatch have been doing a phenomenal job serving the people of Florida in their respective roles, and I know each of them will contribute significantly to their new positions. Thank you, Shevaun and Taylor, and congratulations!
