Welcome to Year 5's History Wow Day. We had the amazing Rob in today for our history workshop. The children spent the morning learning about Spartans and Athenians and how they used battle formations during times of war.

We have also been learning about city-states management, how democracy was important to making battle decisions in Athens.

What an amazing afternoon. We held our annual Spring Concert this afternoon to our local community and grandparent... The children performed with such passion and love for music and drama. Well done to all who took part

This young lady was amazing at the Lincoln Music and Drama festival concert today. A special concert to celebrate all the winners from the events. Well done, we are so proud of your achievements.

Y5 have had an amazing day at the Cathedral, learning all about natural disasters and how they affected local landmarks. We enjoyed making the west front out of clay, dressing up and exploring the grounds. So much learning and so much fun.

We have arrived and so excited to be taking part in the Lincoln Music and Drama Festival again.

Yesterday, year 5 visited Lincoln Central Library and explored the amazing books on display before heading to Waterstones to spend our World Book Day tokens.

Yr 5 are making the most of world book day by having a book share session. Children take it in turns to read a small part of their book, whilst their partner asks questions about the story and characters.

Yr 5 have had the best day at Forest School today. Lots of den building, teamwork, cooking in the mud kitchen, climbing and generally having fun.

This young man helped Mrs Gilbert with a little bit of drama about what to expect with regards to how behaviour is managed at SSPP

Yr5 have had a lovely morning with Mrs Gilbert from SSPP, talking to the children all about life at secondary school.

Today we had a visit to the Waterstones author event at the Engine Shed to see Iqbal Hussain talk about his new book The Night I Borrowed Time.
