Interesting discussion today between colleagues about the answer to the square of 81 being positive AND negative and not accepting pupils writing just positive 9. I would accept just +9 as I am sure I read about the principle of a square number is only positive?

@Mathematical_A Yeah this is how I justified it due due to the laws of polynomials. In the benchmarks from Ed Scot they have it has positive and negative and just a bug bare of mine haha

@Emma_Seith If the Scottish government delivered on their promise that every pupil would get a digital device for learning they could have put in place a blanket ban on mobile phones. The inequity on digital devices available between councils is astounding. Mobiles lead to behaviour issues.
