Reading aloud matters! We recommend ALL children should receive story time at least once a day. But why? Each week we are going to be sharing some of the benefits to reading aloud to all children. @teresacremin provides incredible insight to this.

How do you and your staff keep up to date with new books and authors? This display bookshelf is in our staffroom, a great way just to browse new selections every so often. The excellent 'How Colour Works' is a particular non-fiction gem 💎

Two fantastic book recommendations: El Deafo by @CeceBellBooks and Max and the Millions @mossmontmomery. Both campion deafness and children who are hard of hearing. Great to see representation like this! I’ll add my copies to the school library. Happy reading everyone!
