I believe Jerome Powell is basically a Keynesian at heart and that is why he seems to side with Democrats (who are extreme Keynesians and have been for decades) vs. Republicans who have been Free Market Capitalists, rooted in classical economics by figures like Adam Smith all along. Both Economic Systems have advantages and disadvantages as well as being subject to manipulation by evil people. We can look at the current economic battle being between these systems. In other words 🎼 … “there are no good guys - there are no bad guys - 🎵 there’s just you and me - and we just disagree 🎶”. In summary Jerome Powell needs to be replaced by someone who shares President Trump and his economic council’s philosophy. 🧵
