This story is why we believe raffle marketplaces will be the future. Everyone loves to try their luck with their “free to use” money. The problem with traditional raffle marketplaces is trust. How do you know the raffle is fair? How do you verify the winner? And if it still uses physical raffle coupons, they can go missing and you might not even realize you won. This is what we are building right now with @Raflux_io on @base. We are trying to move the traditional raffle system into a fully on-chain raffle marketplace, where ticket ownership is verifiable with ERC-1155, and raffle draws are fully transparent using @chainlink VRF and audited smart contracts. It shares the same goal as Base, moving the global economy on-chain. We are doing that by bringing traditional raffles fully on-chain with Raflux. With this kind of story, we can show how many Web2 users are already willing to buy raffle tickets, and we can onboard both Web2 and Web3 users together into Raflux. Today, we start with selected tokens and NFTs on Base, plus special RWA listings like Apple products and Trezor item from Raflux. One day, there is a big possibility we could raffle every kind of RWA, even houses, as we continue to scale and grow. I hope @jessepollak finds and reads this message.
