⚠️ Attention Cardano Defi Investors⚠️ This One Is A Must Read For EVERYONE Thats In The Cardano Ecosystem. If you have the misconception that you are late to Cardano Defi, please read this post in its entirety bookmark it and share with anyone with this misconception. DEFI summer is not this summer, it’s NEXT SUMMER. So where does that put us at this stage of the market?? Whatever you are experiencing in your portfolio if you hold top Cardano DEFI assets is an ANOMALY, first time this phenomenon has ever happened In any ecosystem, not even on ETH. CARDANO DEFI & other native tokens are literally having a bull market inside the wider Altcoin BEAR market. I WENT DIGGING In research and discovered this. Read up. I checked the DEFI summer price action of multiple DEFI tokens across ETH & Binance Smart Chain & realized Defi summer began around mid summer AFTER the BITCOIN halving that took place on MAY 11, 2020. Let me illustrate. For this illustration I will like to use @AaveAave as it is most comparable to Cardano’s top LENDING protocol @LenfiOfficial. First off there are a few things you need to know about AAVE to understand this. $AAVE rebranded from ETHLend when they transitioned from peer to peer lending to peer to pool lending. The price of Aave [old ETHLEND] during the token sale was $ 0.017 per LEND. ETHLEND migrated to AAVE at a ratio of 100:1 [equivalent after the migration was $1.70 per AAVE] which means for every 100 ETHLEND you owned, you got 1 AAVE token worth $1.70. Now that you know this, we can understand what the value of AAVE was at the time of the 2020 BITCOIN HALVING in MAY. I found the chart for OLD AAVE it’s attached below and as you can see in MAY 2020 around the bitcoin halving ETHLEND(old Aave) cost 0.0482c which when migrated 100:1 is the equivalent of $4.82. BTW the bitcoin halving and last bull market top AAVE appreciated 13,613.69% or 136X from $4.82 to $661 at the top of the cycle. I bet you some investors thought they were late at $4.82 because AAVE’s bear market bottom was actually 0.33c on Aug 15th 2019, I will attach screen shot and links to this below. The above 136X is impressive but the investors that were WISE enough to buy the BEAR MARKET BOTTOM FOR OLD AAVE on AUGUST 15th 2019 at $ 0.003327c which is equivalent to 0.33c when the migration happened 100:1 and rode the gains from the bottom to the top 0.33c to $661 earned 200,203.03% or 2003X 🤯🤯🤯 the fact they earned 2000x from taking massive risk & buying the bottom at 33 cents doesn’t take anything away from investors that played it more safe & didn’t buy till the bitcoin halving at $4.82, I Promise you those investors are mighty happy with their 136X that was still life changing wealth with a lot less risk. Yes, some investors bought @LenfiOfficial at the bear market bottom of 0.1775c & LENFI cost $3.47 at time of writing but in CARDANO’s case we have a whole 10 months to even get to the bitcoin halving of this cycle which is the time period Aave investors bought AAVE at $4.82.
