@mrwill909 @InterstellarUAP Fair distinction. And in those debates, religious people tend to be the ones claiming what their faith holds true as "facts". Agnostics tend to be more cautious with their statements, because they want them to be substantiated by something, not just "faith".

@mrwill909 @InterstellarUAP Well it is why someone would be justified in assuming Aliens don't exist until proven wrong. Or that there is no pill to cure cancer as of 2026. Also, a few hundred years ago, aeroplanes didn't exist... Ultimately evidence is how you know you are not fooled by arbitrary beliefs.

@zatzi Easter Sunday Mass at my church was overflowing. There were a hundred or so people stood at the back and Father interjected in between readings to try get people to move closer together on the pews to and squeeze a few more people in. Managed to get around an extra 10 seated.

Today I decided to go to a nearby church I hadn’t been to before. It was literally overflowing, with extra chairs in the narthex. There were babies and toddlers, parents and grandparents. Tourists and locals. People from all walks of life and numerous different countries. A vibrant sense of tradition , of life and faith. Community in the truest meaning of the word. A feeling of unity and of renewal. A perfect Easter Sunday Mass. Happy Easter, I hope you find much chocolate and have a blessed Easter week.

@mrwill909 @InterstellarUAP No contradiction at all. It is logical. A claim made with no proof needs no proof to be rejected. But if I want to claim something exists, i have to prove it, otherwise, as i said before, its existence can be rejected with no proof.
