@rebabenzir @80s90sfootball I think the greatest is probably El Pibe Valderrama. My favourite was always Tino. Higuita, Rincon, Ivan Cordoba, James all legends. Andres Escobar will never be forgotten. Lucho and Muñoz are both world class.

@breakthru50 I know people will probably look at LB & GK, but so far I’d argue no one has done enough to dislodge two players who have always done the job when I’ve watched them. Hopefully Lorenzo uses the friendlies wisely: settle on a team, get form and confidence but also explore options.

If Lorenzo is going to continue to ignore Deossa then this would probably be my first choice Colombia starting XI too now… at least most of the debate/disquiet is really about squad players (for now at least).

It’s still a good squad. But Deossa & Cucho should be there and I just don’t see the point in Castaño, Borré & Córdoba at all. Asprilla, Portilla & Mina also unlucky to miss out. Feels a CB light. At least Jhon Arias is back playing and in form.
