You cover boxing for a living. And this is your take? You didn't seem to gaf about Jai when matchroom didn't resign him and Eddie dragged his name in the mud saying he bled money with him. I didn't see Goldenboy offering him anything. No one was signing him. The guy made no money for his first 17 fights. You didn't care. The guy broke his jaw to win a titl the got stripped by IBF. He won it back. He broke no rules and instead of getting on IBF you get on him bc he signed with a promotion that wanted him and paid him very well so he can take care of his family? Let's also not mention fact that there is absolutly no reason to believe this fight can't be made in Rhiad season since Zuffa fighters like Benn have fought in Turkish cards. That's where the real money is.

Jai Opetaia made a mistake signing with Zuffa. The company that’s declared war against the sanctioning bodies. The IBF has already stripped him. It wasn’t for life-changing money and will only complicate future big fights
