Winter Weather Update: NYC Public Schools Will Be Open for In-Person Instruction on Tuesday, February 24, 2026.

Given the severity of the storm forecast and the state of emergency issued by the Governor, all NYC Public Schools will BE CLOSED on Monday, February 23, 2026. There will NOT be remote instruction on this day.

NYCPS 2025-2026 Cell Phone and Electronic Device Policy

No classes for students attending 3-K, Pre-K, elementary schools, middle schools, K–12 schools, and standalone D75 programs on Friday, June 6, 2025, due to a Clerical Day. Students in 9–12 and 6–12 schools in districts 1–32 are in attendance for a regular day of instruction.
