Our March Madness Book Tournament has officially ended. Ss were very happy that “My Pet Feet” was the winning book. Congrats to Taylor for winning our class competition by getting the most points with her bracket choices! 🏆 @stthces

Our March Madness Book Tournament board is ready to go! We had the opportunity to listen to this selection of awesome books and filled out personal bracket sheets with our predictions. We are excited to see the results after our first round of voting today! #2023MBM @stthces

We have become experts at creating PowerPoints in 3/4A and we are now sharing our knowledge with our friends in Mrs. Vecchioni’s class by helping them learn how to create one of their own! Such great collaboration and leadership skills shown today!! @mrsvecchioni @stthces

Gr. 3s and 4s have been working hard on our Black History Month research projects! Ss completed and presented research reports on important and influential Black figures from the past and present. We have learned about so many amazing people! @stthces

To start off our Bullying Awareness activities, the grade 3/4s discussed the differences between someone being mean and when it is bullying. We read scenario cards and worked as a class to sort between the two! @stthces @HWCDSB

Getting into the St. Patrick’s Day spirit! We read the story “How to Catch a Leprechaun” and SS designed their own Leprechaun traps. We also learned about traditional Irish dancing and practiced our “jig” dancing skills 🇮🇪🍀 @stthces

So, today I did a teacher experiment and kept track of how many times “Miss Ammerata” was said throughout the day…..13 kinders, 120 times my name was called. Curious to know other teachers results if they did the same experiment? 🙆🏻‍♀️
