Yesterday, nearly 65 @pilot_company volunteers supported five KCS schools during their spring Giveback Day. From landscaping to beautification projects, these efforts help maintain welcoming learning environments and build lasting community connections!

One day at lunch I heard two teachers talk about what they might do to help a student who always seems to be eating lunch by himself. I was so proud to be their principal at that moment. There is NO substitute for caring about kids.

The One Book Read City campaign kicked off today, and every KCS elementary student will receive a copy of “The Chocolate Touch” book! Thanks to @GlennJacobsTN, @educateknox, @knoxreads and Betsy Henderson for their support – and kudos to @InskipE for their chocolate decorations!
