Many thanks to @RSK_Geophysics for their support - providing kit and software, helping students to be trained in industry standard procedures! Everything was made possible by landowners and the National Trust for providing land access and @AFBI_NI NAP team for facilitating. 3/4

They used ERT, GPR, magnetics, self-potential, seismic refraction, MASW, FEM, TEM to look at glacial deposits, weathering, depth to bedrock, faults and tertiary dykes and geological boundaries as well as preferential recharge and groundwater flow pathways in 2D and 3D. 2/4

Our @msc_geophysics students have just got back from Northern Ireland where they've been getting hands-on experience in a range of cutting-edge acquisition, processing and interpretation techniques to look at the near-surface and deeper geological features. 1/4
