To my hockey peeps: I'm admittedly not a hockey guy, but Steve Yzerman has gotta be fired, right? He's been at this for seven years and there's been virtually no progress. If the team isn't taking that next step, then I don't see the point in keeping him around.

They're rated below average in advanced defensive metrics. Over half of their home runs came in one game. They don't steal bases. They're top ten in doubles and triples but bang average in run scoring, indicating that they don't drive those XBHs in.

#Miami OT Francis Mauigoa, potentially the top tackle in the Draft, has decided to be at Combine Rechecks on Friday for additional imaging on a minor back issue that caused him some discomfort late in the season, sources say.   Mauigoa started 42 straight games in college, including all 16 this season, and upon full professional consultation is not considered a candidate for immediate surgery. He did perform fully at his Pro Day and currently is symptom-free. But some teams have asked for additional testing on a disc issue and with nothing to hide, Mauigoa heads to Indy.
