Jumping in to assert a confident opinion can make you sound like the smartest person in the room. Taking time to hear different views is more likely to help you become the wisest person in the room. The person who learns the most is sometimes the one who says the least.

A mentor is not someone who walks ahead of us and tells us how they did it. A mentor is someone who walks alongside us to guide us on what we can do.

Accountability is hard. Blame is easy. One builds trust, the other destroys it.
