@Pammerhockey Thanks! I should have further my comments in saying that I’m not necessarily stating that it’s a goal or not but why commentators who cover this game so often are misquoting official rules.
Would be nice if the NHL released those extra shots though 👀

@msconduct The review was league initiated. NHL installed 10.5k 360 cameras behind the net and along blue lines in each building. The final clip showed the puck hitting Andersen's glove, then post. It didn't appear it fully crossed the line at any point.

Why are these commentators saying the wrong rule as if it’s a fact? Isn’t it widely known that the call in the ice is the baseline from what you have to overturn?

@MattMacKnight @Fffeisty It goes by the same ruling regardless. I can’t find it in the wording under 37 on either end but I know this is the case. Regardless, NHL states that’s why the call was nhl.com/news/ottawa-se…

@Fffeisty It's the opposite for goal reviews than regular challenges - for a goal there has to be definitive proof that the puck completely crossed the line.

@Fffeisty You have to see the puck cross the line. All the views do not show conclusively that the puck crossed the line in fact the overhead shows it in the bottom of the glove not fully across the line. Use your 👀 eyes
