🏮🏮I just signed a two-year contract extension with @DunningGolf
And yes they have great clothes, and yes I truly love them. But you might not know how they have changed my life.
My article of why I love Dunning and the people there so much.

@YoungerGolf Rick…let’s have a discussion on how to make this come to life!

It’s not the first time I’ve thought about this but IS the first time I’ve written about it.
On my proposal for an Atlantic Canada golf trail and why it could become one of the world’s best.

@GarryMcKay5 @cdngolftraveler @DigbyPines @VisitNovaScotia Unfortunately it hasn’t been well taken care of…we play the NS Senior 4 ball there next month. With the weather we’ve had in NS, I’m not optimistic it will be in great shape. That being said, it’s a spectacular layout!
English

@cdngolftraveler @DigbyPines @VisitNovaScotia Played it last fall and it's a great Stanley Thompson design but was not in good shape.
The owners, it appears, were pouring money into the resort and not into the golf course.

Meet @DigbyPines GC, a Canadian classic designed by the great Stanley Thompson. It’s the showpiece of Digby Pines Golf Resort & Spa, a Norman chateau-style hotel on the Bay of Fundy now principally owned by the Bear River First Nation: wp.me/p2CL05-3QN @VisitNovaScotia

After a decade, the effect of playing a hole with me finally wore off. Congrats @McIlroyRory on your #Masters2025 victory!

English

@acaseofthegolf1 @TheMasters Ryan…this is awesome! Living their best life & props to CC for taking care of them!
English

Well, you are not going to believe this. But the Ontario Boys are going to the @TheMasters
I got a message from the 2025 Champion that said. "Sorry I'm late to the party, but I'd like to get the OB's to the Masters"
AND he's paying for their lodging. Pretty amazing stuff.

Chapter 2…..the @ontarioboys519 story continues…..at Augusta National.

@YoungerGolf @victoriastewxrt Come on Rick…he’s a grinder…you’d love to have him on your team!
English

@victoriastewxrt Should be a great tournament. Hard to wrap my head around cheering for Brad Marchand 😬 But….I will be 🇨🇦

@lornerubenstein @CGHF Lorne…you covered his story so well. I remember him coming to North Halton to work with juniors often. So many other memories in the GTA where Moe showed his skills.
English

Thinking about Moe Norman on this last day of the year. I feel fortunate that I knew him since I was a youngster, and that I wrote about him for decades. This is from his @CGHF induction Aug. 24/95 at Foxwood GC near his hometown of Kitchener, ON.

@eamonlynch Terrible news Eamon…always enjoyed working with Dan! A true gentleman that will be missed.

@VISION54 Too much information can be crippling. Decision making & commitment are critical. Love the idea practicing with no information. There was a time that was pretty much the only way we could play!

I quit my job 15 months ago to start Hanna Golf.
I've come to the conclusion you have to have some wires crossed in your brain to start a business.
Part idiot, part crazy, you name it.
It is far and away more stressful, challenging, and exhausting than any of my prior jobs.
I just spent three hours re-calibrating a probe to get it concentric. Everything that could go wrong went wrong.
I have no one to call, no one to ask. I can't walk down to the tech department to have them help me.
I am on an island.
But I've become addicted to problem-solving. I've also concluded that figuring shit out on your own results in a wild high.
That's why I am an idiot, why I have some wires crossed in my brain.
I love the pain of starting a business. I love it way more than the comfort of a paycheck.
