@munidulac Totally yes. I haven’t finished the book yet and I gotta rewatch the whole season. There were some dialogue that I genuinely was like what the hell were they thinking. The performances by the cast were so insane that it made it so enchanting when the writers weren’t spewing bs

@msfreezerbride bc hiding it behind “vampires aren’t obliged to human morality” when we got the alderman being killed by louis bc of contentiousness about both his race and his status to then cut to the dialogue this season is so…. total tonal shift and character assassination blindsided me

@munidulac I’m excited to rewatch them all together if I am reviewing purely on enjoyment like a 7 or 8 but I am insane abt lestat so that needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Although there’s a lot of criticisms to be made

@msfreezerbride i think this season has potential to be a grower. i was so overstimulated the entire time with the lights strobing and the scream matches. on a first watch i honestly think it’s a 6/10.

#tvlspoilers This season was like if a campy 70s vampire movie, a saftdie movie that makes u wanna throw something at ur screen, a flamboyant broadway musical film adaptation all had a bisexual child that got addicted to coke and unfortunately I was always going to love that.
