Indiana QB Fernando Mendoza uncharacteristically dropped an “F-Bomb” at the National Championship trophy ceremony & defended it in the press conference… "At that point I think it was only fitting to open the floodgates, per se, break my stereotype.” Since he thanked God and then cursed a few words later, it made me think of James 3:10: “From the same mouth come blessing and cursing. My brothers, these things ought not to be so.” I wish he would’ve apologized. Emotions get the best of us, and we fail, but this was a missed opportunity to take accountability, while recognizing that God provides grace & forgiveness upon true repentance of sin.
