@Dr_Hakami_M Could you clarify what does “false tears from edema” mean The article mentions false negatives (missed tear) due to early fibrous bands (scar forming during healing) or ankle positioning (lax ligament position), but I didn’t see mention of edema Thanks

MRI timing is key in ankle ligament injuries. Early scans may show false tears from edema, while chronic partial tears (>3 months) can appear healed due to scar tissue. Imaging should be timed carefully—not too early, not too late. pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/articles/PMC57…

@DrMarwanAl_D I do these all the time and tailor volume based on height/level. It works as well as TFESI or ILESIs for the lower levels

@msk_geek @MSKUS_PT_KSA With all those fancy names If I see injury there.. I will say: the ligament that hold volar plate and prevent hyperextension is injured 😅

Tell me you like hips with out telling me that you like hips 😄 HipPreservation @ESSKA_society  @EhpaEsska  experts meeting and challenging cases management discussion! Sharing expertise and learning from each other experience is piece of gold when treating complex cases.  Not only for the patients but also for clinicians! While we are fighting the corner of our patients to do the best for them, it is also important to know that we are not alone and support each other.  Most of the doctors are suffering for each and every of their patients, especially when managing complex cases ! Knowing that you are not alone is re assuring ! #SICOT25 #HipPreservation #ESSKAEHPA

@riccivincenzo17 @Rheumatology Your videos from that article make the above photo look more like subscapularis recess rather than subcoracoid bursa. Seems like the subcoracoid bursa distends superficially along the subscap muscle with ER/IR whereas the subscapularis recess stays isolated with dynamic motion

@SportklinikBern @pompermarioMD I’ve had 2 cases like these. There’s not much in the literature on treatment. Some case reports and series. What’s your approach? nonWB crutches with extension brace or no brace vs operative?

It’s an honor to promote free education in Musculoskeletal Ultrasound (#MSUS) and Rheumatology. We are happy to share the MSUS Database: over 1,000 images and videos of sonoanatomy and pathology, accessible with a single click from anywhere in the world 🌍 🌎 , even where there’s no textbook, mentor, or ultrasound machine, so students, residents, and practicing physicians can learn and compare cases in real time. In the MSUS Database you will find: 1️⃣Shoulder Anatomy and Pathology 2️⃣Elbow Anatomy and Pathology 3️⃣Hand Anatomy and Pathology 4️⃣Hip Anatomy and Pathology 5️⃣Knee Anatomy and Pathology 6️⃣Foot Anatomy and Pathology 7️⃣Spine 8️⃣Soft Tissue 9️⃣Nerves 🔟Muscle 1️⃣1️⃣Interventional 1️⃣2️⃣Hyaluronic Acid 1️⃣3️⃣PRP 1️⃣4️⃣Doppler 1️⃣5️⃣Elastography 1️⃣6️⃣Trauma 1️⃣7️⃣Rheumatoid Arthritis 1️⃣8️⃣CPPD 1️⃣9️⃣And more… 📸 🎥 We’re expanding this library every week to its improvement! 🤝🌍 Special thanks to Giorgio Tamborrini of UZR Ultrasound Center (@rheumatology) for conceiving and leading this project and inviting me to contribute. rapm.bmj.com/content/early/… Gabapentin prescription in adults with chronic low back pain is associated with increased risk of dementia and cognitive impairment, particularly in non-elderly adults. Physicians should monitor cognitive outcomes in patients prescribed gabapentin.
