@MattLindsayHT @heraldscotland Referees need better guidance/managing. If the VAR hadn’t gone searching for something that may not have even been there and the ref was stronger you guys wouldn’t have anything to write about. Nobody in the ground including the players thought there was a handball.

Football has created an industry inside the game around referees and refereeing decisions. The majority of analysis on TV after matches is now around the contentiousness of decisions rather than skill & tactics. It’s mind numbingly tedious. Who voted for this dismal new world? ⚽️

The corner situation has been ridiculous all season led by weak officials. VAR picked a hell of a time to grow a pair of balls. Almost anything is supportable with enough angles and time. Football’s been ruined.
