This backroom deal exposes the sheer desperation on both sides. If this unholy alliance happens, it will be a complete disaster for the DMK in Tamil Nadu. The people of TN will never accept a party that compromises on Dravidian ideology just to hold onto power. Nationally, this will be deadly for the BJP. How will they face their core voters after embracing a party with a hardcore anti-Sanatan Dharma stance? It exposes their entire narrative as pure political opportunism. They will lose all ideological credibility across India just for a few votes in Parliament. Kudos to Rahul Gandhi for reading the room early and taking the strong, principled call to distance Congress from a compromised ally. Real leadership means knowing when to cut ties.

The hawker demolition drives at major West Bengal railway stations like Sealdah and Howrah have left daily commuters in a bind. While platforms are clearer, passengers miss the quick availability of essential food, tea, and daily goods. For years, daily passengers relied on these stalls for quick breakfast items, tea, water, and last-minute travel essentials at a cheapest rate. Moreover, it is impossible for the Daily commuters, maximum poor and Lower middle class , to afford the existing the Restaurants, KFC, WoW Momo inside the station area.

We lived comfortably when 1 USD was ₹50. We live comfortably when 1 USD is ₹95. We have not become 50% poorer because of this. Frankly, my view is that for Investors who Earn in INR, Invest in INR & Spend in INR, it doesn't matter. Now, many would say that our import costs would go up because of this. True. There will an effect. But, is it as big as it was a decade back? Maybe not. That is where our self reliance comes into being. The India in 2026 is not the same India which was say, 10 - 15 years back. Our structural growth has been solid and many things are being produced in India today. Our energy production is better. Our diplomatic relations are richer. We produce quite a lot. Are we 100% self reliant? No. And maybe we will never be. But, we are definitely becoming less dependent on other countries for our investments & growth. In my experience, the effect is not as bad as it could be, if we invest our money consistently. End of day, most of the stuff we consume is produced in India. The effect is not too bad. Yes, those who never invest in Markets, it would affect greatly anyway. Because money needs to keep growing. That is the bottom line. Investing in Compounding Assets is Key Here. Invest in India. Stay the Course !!!! #FI
