We were once united as One Gambia. With one voice, we stood together under #GambiaHasDecided, rejecting dictatorship, corruption, nepotism, and abuse of power. We Gambians made a choice for people power, determined to shape our own destiny and secure a future of justice and freedom.
This hard-won democracy did not come freely—it was fought for by Gambians both at home and abroad, a victory that belongs to the people alone. Let us remember: no one can take our freedom if we stand together to protect it.
As sovereign citizens, we must jealously guard our rights and hold our leaders accountable. Our power is not theirs( executive & legislature ) to take or control; it is our responsibility to ensure that public servants act in the best interests of the people. Let us remain steadfast and vigilant, so that our democracy, earned through courage and unity, will endure for generations to come.
