Our Power Play cohort raised over $350 for the Ottawa Food Bank during our Good Shepherd Christmas Market. It was a fun night full of sales and a show of their great entrepreneurial skills. @GShepherdOCSB @mspharand #ocsb

Pizza Day will start back on Tuesday, January 7. Subway Thursdays will start on Thursday, January 9. School Cash Online is now open for orders. The deadlines to order are Sundays at noon for Pizza and Tuesdays at noon for Subs.

School Council invites parents and their child/children to “shop” from our closet of gently used children's clothing on Tuesday, November 5th from 4-7pm in the Learning Commons. All clothing is FREE. Supply is limited, so we ask that you please take only what you need.

The International Showcase is TOMORROW! We're looking forward to seeing everyone's happy faces at 5:30pm. We'll have outdoor activities (and food from Aladdin bakery!), a performance by Luciano Porto, crafts, and our students' displays. Don't forget to bring cash for the 50/50!

ONE WEEK TO GO UNTIL THE INTERNATIONAL SHOWCASE, where we celebrate our school community's diversity. The event begins at 5:30pm in the back of the school - with food, outdoor and indoor activities, a performance, a 50/50 draw, and our passport tables to follow. See you there!

We will need help with setting up, during the event (arts/crafts/activities/food), and post-event cleanup, so if you can lend a hand from as early as 4pm up until approx. 8:30, we would be very grateful. The more hands on deck the greater chance of success in this event! (2/3)

A reminder to all my Grade 6 students that tomorrow is picture day for the graduation pictures for the composite.

There are also cakes that will be raffled at the end of the day. Every child will be given a ticket for the raffle. The cost for extra raffle tickets is 50 cents each or 3 for $1.

Halloween Bake Sale to help with Grade 6 year-end activities will be held Tuesday, October 31. Items cost 50 cents or $1.

Join us this Friday for family movie night! Free entry, with snacks available for purchase to support our Grade 6’s Leaving Ceremony. Non-perishable food items for the Food Bank are welcomed!
