There's plenty of people just as good at other shit now, but nobody is paying enough for marble sculptures for people to sit there making them full time and develop this level of virtuosity.
That's what this always comes down to. If there was a huge demand for marble sculptures in 2026 I guarantee we'd be seeing some crazy amazing ones.
