Today @Seaside_elem we learned about what the most efficient way to measure volume would be; a cubic centimetre or metre ! We created our own cubic metre and estimated how many of us would fit inside✨we successfully fit 15 students inside our cubic metre✨@HRCE_Math @HRCE_NS

We had some hard working excavators in class today! Students worked with just toothpicks to see how many artifacts (chocolate chips) they could excavate without breaking them. Some chose to break the cookie apart, others chose to keep it whole! So fun🍪 @Seaside_elem @HRCE_NS

Today in math we played ‘Island Quest’ 🏝️Whoever has the most treasure (perimeter) at the end wins!!! They loved it so much my partner asked to play a second round 😊🏴‍☠️📏 @Seaside_elem @HRCE_Math @HRCE_NS

We are learning about perimeter in 5Murphy so we played around with @ToyTheaterGames making snowflakes to see who could make the the ❄️ with the biggest perimeter 😀 @Seaside_elem @HRCE_NS @HRCE_Math

We got our Wobble Stools today from the Cole Harbour Foundation 😍 We have some pretty happy kiddos this afternoon😀 @Seaside_elem @HRCE_NS

Our rain gauge couldn’t be tested on this sunny day, so we hid it so we could check on Tuesday 🙊
