Kicked off our new ELA unit by analyzing some #primarysources from the Sask Digital Archives. This newspaper document was chosen in honour of @missmatiowsky who is living in Carnduff ☺️

We read Indigenous myths from around the world & students connected two stories to each other and their own lives. Blown away by the ability to orally explain these connections! #hexagonalthinking #ela #mythology

This year, I’ve been referring to my one-on-one writing help as the “Hoffman Cafe”. Today, the Hoffman Cafe was complete with REAL cookies and juice, to help us through our #OratoricalSpeeches .. the best Friday!
