@simonlewis I teach in a 2-teacher school. Does this mean that if one of us absent for any of the instances noted, all 8 classes would be put into one classroom?

This is important. It's also astonishing that parent and advocacy groups didn't as much whimper about it. Classes will again be split when a teacher is out. When a class is split, children get babysat, not taught. I can't understand how they don't get angry at the DoE about this.

I was teaching children about the scale of the universe last week and realised they had absolutely no concept about how big numbers really are. They saw millions, billions and trillions as not much different...so I had to use some analogies to help them...
