This was the video of how a radicalised youth member of the Zikist Igbo movement called Kayode Ted Adams wanted to assassinate the first Yoruba VC of the University of Lagos, Professor Biobaku. The radicalism and toxicity of the Obidient movement was copied from Zik. In the first republic, the Igbos felt it was wrong for Yorubas who have been professors before any group in West Africa to lead Universities in Yorubaland. The used federal might and Yoruba saboteurs to push this agenda. When Zik and his Igbo supremacists wanted to try the same madness in Zaria, the Fulanis vowed to burn down the University of Zaria if he imposed an Igbo VC on them. The enemies of your parents can NEVER be your friends. Yoruba people, know your history!!!!!!!
Aare kurunmi kakanfo@AKakanfo

Yoruba people built Obafemi Awolowo University because Igbos via Azikwe used federal government power to hijack University of Ibadan and University of Lagos from us. Akintola had to go ballistic to align with the centre and ensured Biobaku emerged as the VC of Unilag. A Yoruba youth radicalised by the Igbo supremacist movement of Zik which is equivalent of the Obidient movement almost assassinated Professor Biobaku the first Yoruba Vice chancellor of UNILAG. A lot of our youths do not know what we are dealing with. We are dealing with a group who believe the conquest and domination of Yorubaland and Yoruba people is their manifest destiny. That same OAU was taken away from us by the federal government.

@Adedxpo It’s just so tiring! Like always trying to attack everything indigenously of Yorubas! We are not twins ffs, it’s pisses me off. Over 250 ethnicity but this same people! Very useless comparison how is that the same as aadun? These guys are just plain revisionist.

The logic/premise of this argument is like a French man telling an Italian man that he can not lay claim to pizza because they (French) also have snacks from dough - Croissant. Just pure straw grasping. Who puts vegetables in Aadun? Where is the roasting in this preparation?
Nze@nzemmili

Imagine claiming corn snacks originated from you, when corn doesn’t even come from Nigeria? The same corn snacks different groups in Nigeria cook in different ways? This is another Igbo variant of corn snacks.

You are so delusional. Why do you always think the Yorubas who are not indigenes of Lagos don't pay tax. Like you guys are full of BS! Everytime, this useless narrative. Are u the only 1 paying tax? Abeg get out of here. Also, you can like to live in Ur state & pay the tax there.
Lilian Ogechi@Adaigboglobal

If there is any uproar we need to have in Nigeria, it should be about the marginalization of those living outside their states of origin. When Akpabio returns from South Africa, he should come and remove the cloak in the eyes of Nigerians. Our lives matter too This is my personal one-month tax contribution to the Lagos State Government for March 2026. I cannot pay this money to the Akwa lbom State Government; I am mandated to pay it to Lagos State. Yet in the same Lagos where I pay these taxes, someone from lbadan, Ogun, Ondo, or Ekiti who pays zero taxes, will come out to tell me it is wrong if I am sent for government training with tax payers money: If I were paying taxes in a sane society, I should even be entitled to salaries from the government if I lose my job. But here, we pay for nothing, and some people will still say I cannot benefit from government programs because my surname is not Adekoya, Ajayi, or Olusola. If Nigeria is not ready for true federalism, let us know, so that everyone will pay taxes to their own state and demand benefits from their representatives there. We cannot only read the constitution when it comes to taxing us, but suddenly be told to be "sensitive" when it comes to enjoying benefits. So charging me huge taxes isn't insensitive, but asking for benefits is? If you live anywhere in Nigeria and believe a citizen does not deserve government benefits simply because his parents aren't from that city, you are worse than those displaying xenophobia in South Africa. The finger you point at South Africa is pointing back at you. How many of you so-called Yoruba people are paying taxes in Lagos State? How many? I wake up every day in rain and sunshine to go to work, taxing myself and ensuring that the Lagos State Government is funded. Yet you, contributing nothing, think you are more deserving simply because you bear a Yoruba surname. Iku pa e. Bring your tax certificate or pank alert here, let's see what you actually contribute to the state. @Roberta Edu

For a while now, I’ve endured coordinated attacks simply because I chose to correct misinformation about my culture and speak openly about Yorùbá traditions. What started as me providing context and sharing history somehow became grounds for insults, smear campaigns, and being labelled things I have never been. I’ve been called an extremist, an APC paid bot and even a terrorist for saying nothing more controversial than “This is Yoruba culture.” Meanwhile, I have never attacked anyone unprovoked, spread hate, or made bigoted statements about anybody. I’ve simply defended my culture when I saw it being misrepresented. When all of you preferred to look on while our cultural heritage gets continually watered down and dissected. I’m Yorùbá and I've always been proud of it. I've had this handle for over a decade, before a Yorùbá man ever became Nigeria's president. People are free to disagree, but demonising me for cultural advocacy is unfair. I know my heart is clean, and I will never be ashamed of speaking the truth respectfully and standing by where I come from. I honestly don’t care about any of those bigots spreading these narratives, my advocacy has always been for Yorùbá people to learn and embrace our culture. You don’t have to be as passionate about it as I am, but the least you can do is not pretend that there is no justification for the work I do. And I hope someday, you will see the need for this advocacy. To everyone who defended me, checked in on me or simply showed kindness, thank you. I truly appreciate it. Ènìyàn láṣọ mi. ❤️
