@SBlaireaux @tothcsabatibor I understand, but we are clearly not on the same page and thats fine. I was saying "critical of migration" I didn't mean "zero migration", obviously that does not comply with eu standards and the funds would still be locked. But U can still be critical of illegal migration.

@mt12off @tothcsabatibor You don’t understand. Hungary isn’t a founding Member State and is net receiver. It means no disagreement is allowed. You fully comply on everything and shut up or you get the Orbán treatment. This is how it works.

Evaluation: you can run the country with 106 MPs. Tisza cannot rewrite Fidesz's Basic Law but you probably do not need to since checks and balances potentially used by Fidesz (the President, the Constitutional Court) have been stripped off from any real power by the 2/3s rule. Also a 3 years period of no actual campaigns lift the burden off of being in constant battle mode. You only have to focus on local and EP elections from March 2029. And the occassional by-election.

My prediction: last minute Fidesz extra mobilization in the Northeast, Southwest rural areas bring out people to the polls that will slightly tweak these results, ending up in a near statistical tie. Eventually it will look something like Fidesz 40 Tisza 47 Mi Hazánk 8 No other party will cross the 5% threshold. This is how it looks like on 21 Központ seat calculator

@SBlaireaux @tothcsabatibor Compliance with anti-corruption rules isn't political surrender. If you fix the courts and stop the theft, the money flows. You can still disagree with Brussels on migration while being a law-abiding member

@mt12off @tothcsabatibor Tisza promised to bring back the EU Funds. This necessarily includes full compliance with Brussels policies. What Tisza thinks is irrelevant. Comply or no funds. That's how it works.

@tothcsabatibor The question is: Tisza is just the new United Opposition from 2022 as besides Magyar, it simply brings together the entire left-center liberal segment… but what are they actually going to do? This has barely been discussed, the main topic of this election being Orban IN our OUT.
