I know it's probably crazy, but I did indeed check that The Lord of the Rings extended edition trilogy theater re-release is scheduled with 3 showings per day at 3 hour intervals. Since the movies are over three hours long, this makes viewing all 3 of them in a day impossible.

This is part of a worrying trend in fiction where viewers/readers conflate flawed characters with their creators, and assume depicting something is to promote it. You can’t have a character arc without flaws and you can’t critique society without depicting flawed characters
