OMNY System Upgrade Tonight ⚠️ From May 12 at 10 p.m. to May 13 at 4 a.m., you will not be able to buy or reload OMNY cards at vending machines, online, or at retailers. OMNY accounts will also be unavailable. You will still be able to tap and ride as usual. Load your OMNY Card now or plan to tap and ride with your phone or debit/credit card.

Taking you back Behind the Blue Wall — this time to 61 St–Woodside Station on the 7 line. The elevated 7 line in Queens is more than 100 years old, and crews are rebuilding it from the inside out with major state-of-good-repair and accessibility projects up and down the line. At the center of that work is 61 St-Woodside station. Here, crews recently installed new 95-foot steel girders to support the Manhattan-bound track and secure the station for another century. Now, work shifts to the Flushing-bound side--requiring last weekend's outage between 74 St-Broadway and 34 St-Hudson Yards to get it done safely and efficiently. And don't worry, while service was out, we had 30 other crews working along the line on everything from storm resiliency upgrades to signal maintenance. LIRR service may shut down as early as May 16 if railroad unions go on strike. Avoid nonessential travel and work from home, if possible. Starting May 18, weekday rush hour service will be enhanced on the 2, 3, 4, and 5 lines for 1.2 million daily riders! These schedule adjustments shift train trips to high ridership hours based on customer feedback and detailed ridership and operational data.

@MTA typically scenario I’m on the Q train we r at a standstill crossing over to manhattan bridge. We r stuck with a mental illness craz yelling at everyone in the train and there is a baby on board. This is what we pay 💸💸💸 for.

During two weekends in May, 7 trains aren't running between 74 St-Broadway in Queens and 34 St-Hudson Yards in Manhattan in either direction: • From 11:30 p.m. Friday, May 8 to 3:30 a.m. Monday, May 11 • From 11:30 p.m. Friday, May 22 to 10:30 a.m., Monday, May 25 During these weekends, there will be shuttle buses running in Queens and Manhattan, and you can take the E, F, or R trains between boroughs. yo @MTA if you’re going to decommission bus stops maybe put some fucking signage or actually dismantle the physical fucking stop. bus driver literally shrugged at me as he drove by me. a man in a nearby house that had come outside told me the stop was no longer operational

@MTA @NYCTBus Does the OMNY card do transfers without charge? Saw a guy pay with it and get a transfer from bus driver. I think I’ve been charged for every damn transfer. Clarify.
