The Botswana Police Service has confirmed that a 35-year-old suspect, Maatla Bokang Makhura, who allegedly stabbed a woman in Gaborone and fled with her minor son, has been arrested in Dwaalboom, Thabazimbi, South Africa. The child has been safely recovered and is under the care of South African child protection authorities, with arrangements underway for their return to Botswana.
