Governor Gavin Newsom@CAgovernor
Exactly one year since Trump started taxing Americans with his illegal tariffs: Americans are paying more for less. Inflation remains high. U.S. manufacturing jobs are falling. Supply chains and partnerships are excluding America.

Blocking donation contributions to @kpbs by locking the payment method and seeing the attempts fail brings me a tiny bit of joy.
They make it super easy to sign up online, giving you sense that you doing your part contribute to public broadcasting. Only to make it impossible to cancel your donation the same way. At the time of writing this, my only options were send a cancellation request in writing via mail, or drop the payment method.
This joy is fleeting, but put a smile on my face this morning. 😬😀😃😄😁😂

@Maguro_Maznaga Yes. I’ve lived in Northern and Southern California. It’s a beautiful place, but the leftist ignorance has dulled any reason I’d want to even visit. Suicidal empathy is real and should be considered insane.

🚨 Mark your calendars. June 21st, Italy.
Filippo Biondi from the Khafre Pyramid scan team is reportedly planning a full press conference to present the near complete picture of what lies beneath the Giza Plateau.
Last year they revealed vertical shafts going over a kilometre deep beneath the pyramids. Now they've found horizontal connections on multiple underground layers linking everything together.
🔹One year of additional scanning
🔹Horizontal tunnels on 3 to 4 layers
🔹Connections beneath all three pyramids
🔹Structures confirmed beneath the Sphinx
🔹Most of the complete picture to be presented
If this holds, June 21st could be the biggest reveal in Giza exploration in thousands of years.
Are you paying attention yet?

@harukaawake This is a great message. More people should take the time to reflect on personal, local, and world history. It provides balance in understanding and motivation, allowing people to make their lives more practical and meaningful.

🇯🇵 I often see endless third world resentment toward the West and feel only pity.
Hiroshima & Nagasaki were destroyed by atomic bombs. We lost everything. We didn't scream about trauma or demand endless reparations. We rebuilt. Today these cities are beautiful.
So, drop the victimhood. Stop blaming history. Change and build something or otherwise get used to being disliked.

@YueKuratsu I used one when I was in school for 3d animation. Files sizes were huge and floppy didn’t cut it. I kind of miss physical media.

@neomechanica Holy shit. I had these. Random gif triggering some buried memories.

I was hesitant to drop the extra money on 128GB of RAM when I configured my current workstation. Those doubts have completely melted away.
I'm running a demanding multi-agent workflow right now with @opencode, @grok, and @qwen — handling intensive, resource-heavy tasks that push the system hard. Memory usage is sitting at just 71% (~91GB), yet I still have dozens of browser tabs open and all my usual productivity workloads running without the slightest hiccup.
When I was 10 years old, I genuinely thought the 4MB hard drive in my 286 PowerMate was more storage than anyone would ever need.
For the first time, I'm seeing these high-end resources fully validated in real time.
This workstation is absolutely insane.
