I wrote a song! (to the tune of Lit's "My Own Worst Enemy") 🎶 It's no surprise (to me), I often write parenthetically (Be)cause my ADHD stops me (now (and then)) From thinking (or writing) linearly

And I say this having been both the leader whose decision other folks had to execute on, and having been been against a decision someone else made that I had to execute on.

I understand this but disagree. One person deciding in a vacuum doesn't work. Deciding by committee leads to "decisions disliked by the least people". An experienced leader hearing everyone's perspective and then making the call, with others trusting that leader, works best.

Me: Love when people are happy to practice "disagree and commit" Engineer: That means something a lot different when you're using git

@MsEldritch Absolutely. Sometimes when something makes you feel bad, it's a real problem that you need to address with someone. But other times, it doesn't, and feeling can just be acknowledged and validated without anything further. The latter is definitely a lesson I've had to learn.
