@BladeoftheS Tax avoidance is legal. The accountants that work for him make sure he pays the least amount of tax, remaining within the rules. If HMRC challenge it, the accountants should be able to defend it. If anyone has ever worked for themselves- they would do it too! I would do it.

JCB is under investigation for £500,000,000.00 in tax avoidance. Definately something we can't afford. Pay your ****ing taxes.

Civil servant here. If Farage wins the next GE, he'll call us all back to the office 5 days a week. The CS will then be on the verge of collapse, as thousands of people will either retire immediately or quit, due to the removal of WFH. Cheap optics will meet reality.

The general consensus is that areas that voted Brexit are much more likely to be voting Reform & this proves that: Stupidity is for life, not just for Brexit

@markofagenius The ironic thing about this post is that if Labour ever win a majority again, it’s the ‘thick’ people’s votes they’ll need.

I know I was a teacher for 40 years but I am not responsible for so many thick people voting Reform. I only taught in three schools in Hampshire, so please don’t blame me.

@commontruth_ They’ll never change, because that would mean admitting they’re ideologues. They’ll double down, or go for the ‘people were fooled’ angle.

In hindsight, basing your politics around calling ordinary British people far-right Nazis probably was not the best strategy.

I’m not sure why we still have a monarch. It seems like a medieval anachronism to me; a demonstration of inherited status and the the pinnacle of an entrenched aristocracy. And I’m really not sure why our monarch has gone to the US to stand next to another man with too much power, land and money.

Sir Alex Ferguson had Scholes, and still tried to sign Steven Gerrard. José Mourinho had Lampard, but he also tried to sign Steven Gerrard. Liverpool had Steven Gerrard and never looked the way of Scholes or Lampard. Says a lot...
