A Wind Advisory is in effect for Allegheny County from midnight tonight to 11 AM Monday. Southwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 50 mph are expected. Strong winds may cause downed tree limbs, scattered power outages, and difficult travel.

The water company was not able to finish its repairs. Therefore, Washington Road is still closed from Academy to Alfred Street. Detours are posted but traffic will be problematic. Please avoid if possible. No estimate of repair time is available.

Public works has 9 plows out on their routes. Roads are still snow covered. It takes each truck a minimum of 8 hours to plow through the entire route (2 passes on each street.) We plow the main routes first, so residential streets may take longer. Info: mtlebanon.org/2026snow

Hours for the food pantry this week are listed below. The lobby at 710 Washington Road will be open past 5 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday. The pantry is completely free to all. No registration or requirements. Take what you need!
