@nib95_ Everyone love to blame ADHD as if it is root cause of short attention spans. I have it and games have helped me focus on things. Writing, cooking and photography as well. The biggest cause of shorter attention spans can be more attributed to the internet in general.

It's like so many gamers these days have impossibly low attention spans or ADHD or something. Possibly social media, YT, TikTok etc related. Not every moment of every game has to be constant shoot shoot bang bang or gameplay insta gratification. It's ok for games to slow things down for set piece spectacle, thrill, atmosphere, world building or drama occasionally. Some of my fave moments from games decades old are these kinds of moments, like the slow paced pretty much on rails opening from 28 year old Half Life, all the way through to its failed lab experiment where you're essentially a bystander to incredible world building set dressing. Likewise the incredible opening from 19 year old Bioshock, or multiple other scenes throughout the game, where again, you're essentially doing nothing but moving forward while taking all the atmosphere in. It feels like a large crop of gamers these days have been brain cooked by social media or the instant gratification culture we're constantly spoon fed, to no longer have the patience or appreciation for these types of segments.

You know I get why overwatch won now that I’m seeing what counts as gameplay for uncharted 4.

@FumeGaming95 Thought I had typed it. 😅. It was web of shadows. Went back and replayed it last year for nostalgia and did the 100% on Xbox for it.

@mttywayne15 I think I’ve tried to plat every single Arkham game but always gave up because of how bored I got with the Riddler trophies. There should be 5 in every district and that’s it. Not 50 lmfao Which spider man game??

Was going to go for the plat in Lego Batman Legacy of the Dark Knight but I just can't be bothered to cleanup all the collectibles on the map because it'll take another 10-15 hours of time I don't have. Overall it was a solid experience and a very fun Batman game. Score: 8/10

It is absolutely disgusting that they did that and their comment was reported. That said you defend and engage with 2 weirdos who said they’d SA kids and one that threatened another persons kid. Hang that victim routine up. You’re no better than they are.

@MatthewLan52427 Not diverting at all. I said the comment was disgusting and reported it. I just tend to find people saying they’ll 🍇 kids to also be disgusting and that’s what the weirdos group has done. He defends them and does exactly what the sw group does, but tries to play victim over it.

@FumeGaming95 Makes sense. Makes me think back to collecting the 2000 orbs to get the max out spider achievement. Just swinging endlessly waiting for them to show up on the mini map

I actually enjoyed indies clean up! It was fun and rewarding almost, plus bonking Nazis in between is always fun hahahah. Lego Batman’s is just *grapple to a new place and do one of the 6 puzzles you’ve already done but it’s just a bit different, a bit different enough to frustrate you*

@Marc_Daniels_ZA Pretty sure I just used the flails and spammed one of its easy 2 hit combos if I remember correctly. I’d still get the occasional fish biting my ankles though 😂

@mttywayne15 Hate hate HATE those SOB's 😂 there are a few ways I eventually learned to deal with them but until you do, its thoughts and prayers whenever they appear 🤣

Right tool for the right job Fire Wheels + Vigoorian Flail to make short work of ghost fish, then switching out to the War Hammer to quickly focus down ranged enemies Few mistakes, but the plan worked! #NinjaGaidenSigma

@FumeGaming95 I get that for sure. That’s kind of how I felt with Indy. Over 500 collectibles was a bit excessive. Luckily they were broken into smaller maps so I just focused on one area a day to keep it from burning out lol

@mttywayne15 Definitely a fun game! I was trying to break it up by hiding all collectibles on the map except the ones I was working on(so I didn’t get overwhelmed looking at the Ubisoft looking map) but it was just going to be too much time

@hybridheroplays Thank you! I tried following a guide while doing the initial replay through when I started working on the play, but it really is super easy to miss one. 😅

@mttywayne15 The ones I was missing were from the Turret mini game. But I only figured that one after searching every section for hours. Congrats on the Platinum, by the way!

PLAT: 76 Jak 3 Finished up the trilogy of one of the best series from the PS2 era. Glad to finally knock it off the backlog. #jak3

@hybridheroplays I search all the open world one 2-3 times using a guide and couldn’t figure out which one I was missing. I ended up using the controller trick to pop the last ones I needed for the last trophy

@mttywayne15 If looking for those Precursor Orbs was a curse for Trophy hunters...

@SilentFramesVP I enjoyed the story, but wasn’t the biggest fan of the gameplay personally. That said I think it’s more of a preference thing than anything actually wrong with the game
