@StarbucksUK I’m not sure there’s much “signature” about this breakfast sandwich.

@ManCity it blows my mind how slow food service is every week every year in Colin bell level 3 compared to when I sit in the south stand or family stand. Will it ever get better?

It's always a surprise and disappointing when rugby players fake injury - @PenaudD - stop mimicking footballers and play the game.

Guardiola calls on FA to hold Cup semi-finals in north. I wish - my annual whinge, £220 for two tickets - over 9 hours of travelling. My 9 year old would have had an equally amazing day at Villa Park and would be home and fast asleep by now. theguardian.com/football/2025/…

How boring it would be to have sunshine every day of the year. Last night the rain was bouncing off the pitches in Carrington. This mornings train to London with low mist somewhere in the Midlands. Every chance I’ll have sunburnt ears and a cough from the damp by tomorrow

Stood at countries least popular airport terminal multiple years running. Just takes two flights to land at same time and 50 minutes at passport control. If you know you know

Manchester folk: can you suggest a central pub or bar that does casual food, the sort of place where everyone can order bits at different times. Basically Nell's but not Nell's (love it but want to go somewhere new).

This is absolute nonsense Kemi and you know it. I met you alongside other colleagues over a year and a half ago and the definition was explained to you in detail - you were asked to detail your concerns / any objections and the basis of it . You DID NOT follow up. Instead all work on Islamophobia ( or whatever you feel we are allowed to call our racism ) has stopped. Ministers do not even engage with the governments OWN cross government working group on your preferred “anti Muslim hatred” The government has dragged its heels on any work to tackle this form of racism. The only structures and programs that still survive are what we put in place during a Cameron government over a decade ago. Amazing flagship programs like Remembering Srebrenica have been defunded. No new initiatives , no engagement with communities , no definition Instead culture wars , othering and blatant anti Muslim racism. As for “blasphemy laws” - you know this isn’t true , as was explained and evidenced in our meeting and as you are well aware the definition like the IHRA definition on antisemitism is a NON legally binding working definition not a “law” PS- just so colleagues word sensibilities are not triggered - the World will in a few weeks mark the United Nations International day to combat #Islamophobia.
Kemi Badenoch@KemiBadenoch

We use the term “Anti-Muslim hatred”. It makes clear the law protects Muslims. In this country, we have a proud tradition of religious freedom AND the freedom to criticise religion. The definition of “Islamophobia” she uses creates a blasphemy law via the back door if adopted.

Rumours that there are some train signals working ok appear to be incorrect. "Signal failure" gets a hat-trick of reasons for West Coast train delays. 3/1 this will be finished before I get to London

5 years ago Milton Keynes was dubbed ‘tent city’ by the media. Today, no one needs to sleep rough on our streets. How did we do it? A thread by the Cabinet Member responsible 👇

HS2 cost too much, took too long and didn’t deliver what the British people need. Network North will be a different story - hundreds of transport projects starting sooner and finishing faster. Find out what it means for your area now👇 levellingup.campaign.gov.uk/network-north/
