Year 1 have loved taking part in all different activities for STEAM week. From finding the mystery suitcase to code breaking, science experiments, map drawing and using coordinates and drawing our explorer this afternoon- it’s been a busy week! @muchwooltonsch #MuchWooltonSteam

This week for STEAM week, year 5 have loved solving the mystery of the suitcase! We have broken codes, studied maps and recreated partial drawings to finally solve our whole school mystery ❓✨ #SteamWeek @muchwooltonsch

We are scientists! Year 5 loved carrying out a science experiment to create hydrogen, we used fire to test it and it created a POP sound! We also tested lots of different liquids including stomach juice to see how acidic they were! #SteamWeek @muchwooltonsch

Year 5 loved designing and building spaghetti truss bridges in DT this week! 🌉 Using teamwork, problem-solving and careful construction skills, we tested our designs to see which bridge could hold the most weight. Fantastic engineering in action! 👏 #STEAMweek @muchwooltonsch

Year 5 took part in a Conscience Alley activity this week, exploring how Jesus Christ might have felt when facing temptation during the 40 days in the desert. A thoughtful way to reflect on choices, faith and resilience in our RE lesson. ✨📖 #MuchwooltonRE @muchwooltonsch

We had lots of fun planting our own cress seeds! 🌱 We read our class story Bloom and talked about what seeds need to grow. The children discussed how plants need water, sunlight, care and love to help them grow strong. @muchwooltonsch #muchwooltnenglish #muchwooltonscience
