@ValaLegz The younger folks aren't quick to get married or have kids at all... They've seen their parents struggle & stick through unfulfilling relationships with no return. They want better for themselves opposed to following the traditional social script.

We are seeing the first true generation that marry for love and have children when they are ready. And not many are doing it. (I’m not speaking in absolutes)

So many relationships could be fixed if people could put their pride aside, apologise, and actually adjust their behaviour.

Most people just want to be seen, heard, understood, and accepted. But toxic people want you to regulate their emotions, manage their insecurities, take on their energy, solve their problems, resolve their internal conflicts, heal their wounds, and become who they want you to be.

@theonliTrey Boy... That's a worldwide trend for most developed & developing countries. I honestly don't see that turning around. Interesting where this will all go especially with AI & fast developing Tech exploding.

Bahamians not having enough children

@imnickintl I'd be curious what boundaries you put in place - I struggled with this for 15 years in corporate until I realized I had much to do with the problem. You have to be so deliberate with going "off-line" during breaks. So many layers nowadays.

I learned a valuable lesson on this vacation: Bahamians by and large have no respect for professional boundaries. Bothering me while I’m off for something that isn’t even life threatening is crazy work. Anyhow, such is life.

I am impressed and grateful when I meet really smart and highly successful people. But what I admire most is kindness, humility, optimism, generosity and shared knowledge.

Is @mybpl242 still owned/ran by the government of The Bahamas??? Not sure if it's a fluke or not but I called them twice today & BOTH times a Bahamian human picked up very quickly & was pleasant, knowledgeable & extremely helpful & efficient. Totally wasn't expecting that!
