Across the political spectrum, Indian Politics has rotten badly. 1. There are no healthy debates. Only appeasement. Appeasement of caste, religion, and language. 2. Politicians have started abusing each other publicly. Clearly shows the declining moral compass. 3. Approximately 45% of the MPs and MLAs have a criminal background. If any politician says they're clean or their party is clean, just check the number of tickets given by their party to the criminal candidates. 4. Corruption, just like 2010, is on the rise. The nexus and the corrupt practices have started coming in front of the public. Whether its the ethanol scam or the road highway scam. Majority of the educated demography of India is fed up with BJP NDA. But they don't have an option because they were fed up for a decade with Congress UPA as well. As long as mediocre politicians continue to rule us, India will never be ahead of USA or Europe or Scandinavian Nations.

UPSC will go digital, use technology and AI but won't frame 100 correct questions in Prelims and won't release the answer key after the prelims. Reforms and student centric reforms are different.

Indians are usually more worried about the questions: Who will be the next PM, Nehru vs Modi, Yogi will be the next PM etc. But they never think: 1. Why do people still spit on the roads? 2. Why do people still pee roadside? 3. Why do road rages increase? How can a speeding car hit a traffic policeman in broad daylight? 4. Why are we still loitering on the streets? When it comes to us and our semi-civilised behaviour, we pass the buck. But when it comes to the government, we all become arm chair experts.

The global crude oil prices have bottomed out. The next 2-3 years are expected to witness a major bull run in international crude oil prices. I am not an astrologer, but this points out towards a major conflict brewing up in Middle East disrupting the global oil supplies.

My Analysis of the UPSC CSE GS Mains Paper-II (Polity, IR, Governance, and Social Justice) 1. The paper was above average and the questions were not direct and straight forward. 2. PYQs of UPSC are extremely important. Parallel questions can be found out in the past. Example: Question on Attorney General is parallel to the question on CAG in 2024. Similarly, the comparison of US and Indian President is a similar question from the past. 3. Every year, at least one question is now being asked from the Acts and Laws. This year it was Jammu and Kashmir Reorganization Act. This gives more importance to the laws passed in the Parliament. 4. Extreme focus on Judgments of the Supreme Court. Earlier, UPSC used to ask about the topics and Judgments were used to supplement the answers. But now, direct questions are being asked based on the verdicts of the Court. 5. The concepts asked in Governance and Social Justice are much beyond simple gender and child issues. The questions require thorough understanding of the topics and not just a shallow undeerstanding of the topics. If you are not well versed with the concepts and if you are not following the issues round the year, you will find it hard to understand deep linkages. Newspaper and current affairs are indispensible. 6. More quote based questions are being asked across the paper. These quotes are based on the important documents and joint statements. Just a summary of issues won't help in such papers. You need to read between the lines and go beyond just the headlines. 7. Every single question required a thorough understanding. Its difficult to write 20 such questions in 3 hours span. | First timers would have found this paper a bit more tough. Thanks.

UPSC Exam is biased in its own ways. Looking at today's Mains Essay paper and past CSAT papers, I can safely say: 1. CSAT is more advantageous for Science students. 2. Essay is more biased in favour of Humanities students.

The major reason for anxiety, demotivation, and losing track in most of the UPSC, SSC and Banking aspirants is a lack of patience and instant gratification. Most of the aspirants don't see the larger picture and want instant results of their preparation. The school and the college exams used to give instant results. Studying 1 night before the exam and appearing the next day to pass was the core attitude.

Looking at the aura of Putin during the Alaska meet, I think only 3 Prime Ministers of India could exhibit that aura at the global stage: (in order in which they held the office) 1. J.L. Nehru 2. Indira Gandhi 3. Narendra Modi Across the political spectrum, the statesmanship of these 3 Prime Ministers at the global stage is unprecedented in their respective ways.

3 things every UPSC/SSC Aspirant should learn from Putin: 1. Never leave your ground. Hold it, no matter how hard things get. 2. Never be afraid to take uncomfortable steps. Within your comfort zone, no progress will come. 3. Even if the world is against you, serve your interest.
