This is dreadful for Tier 2 clubs . Can only enter one cup that there is no realistic chance of winning. Be looking at 32/33 game seasons

@PeteEds78 Does the WBS need a sponsor? The prize money this year was pretty much non existent so the only expense to the FAW is the final . MG cup different around prize money but being left with one cup competition is so poor

@muff5 Voted to keep the MG Cup, scrap the WSB The only viable reason I can think of is that there is no money as no sponsor for the MG (happy to be corrected) cup anymore so easiest thing to do is scrap it. The WSB is only that for the same reason, there was no sponsor for it

@CymruLeagues Sad to see the end of these competitions. What jeopardy is there now for a mid table Cymru South club once it's clear they're staying in the league?

If any other sponsors fancy swooping in and giving us Tier 2 clubs a cup competition, that would be much appreciated! Nothing beats cup football, so I'm hoping there will be a new addition in the calendar otherwise this is such a loss for clubs at this level for so many reasons.

As a result of these developments, the Club has taken the difficult decision to withdraw from tomorrow evening’s NEWFA Cup fixture against FC Queens Park. Unbelievable standard of football this

Some of the rules in football drive me mental. How can a player get booked in a cup final, his 2nd booking in that competition so misses the first round of the cup next season. Just makes no sense at all why they are not written off at the end of the competition
