I wanna personally clear up what transpired this week. The other day I played against @Tridnt_ who was also queued with @blxppyy, Tridnt had an absolutely insane 22/4 game, single-handedly winning the game, which we ended up reporting him for, I say we, as my entire stack that day thought he was cheating, way before I went into match replay to decide for myself. And I cant blame them, as the very first kill of the game, was a pre-aim through a hard wall they had no drones on, they had multiple plays that game where they setup kills on spots they had no intel on(no drones etc.), so yes, we thought they were sus, and I think most people would admit the same. (Also 22 kills is an absolutely insane game, yes.) Regardless, eventually, Tridnt and Blxppy were both banned, but I can happily say WITH PROOF, that this was NOT a result of our game against them, I along with @OneShooter_, went to make sure what the ban was actually for, and got provided communication from Ubisoft directly that my report had absolutely ZERO to do with their bans, and was purely a mistake on Ubisoft's end as something else had flared up from before(COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO OUR MATCH!), it was only a really REALLY fucking stupid unfortunate coincidence, I have provided proof of this to both Tridnt himself, Oneshooter who investigated this with me, and @fettR6S, to act as a 3rd party witness to prove my innocence in this, all of which can confirm that what I'm saying is the truth. And I would happily provide proof to anyone else in the siege community that I would trust with that. (As it has sensitive private information for all parties involved, I cannot share it publicly.) BUT with that cleared up, what I'm most disappointed in all of this, is how so many bad actors took this and just ran with it, and ran way too far with it too, so many people just full of hate believing anything they want to because they have a predisposed bias against another person, the abuse I had to endure over a completely false accusation was disgusting, and even worse, the people I play with, people who weren't even in that game, have had to endure endless abuse, slurs and death threats thrown their way and as a community you need to do better, you need to grow up and think more before you open your mouth. "Manualing" makes no fucking sense, as that would quickly become a legal issue if no proper investigation is ever done as that would directly interfere with EU Law (DSA). I do however wanna thank the people who knew better who reached out to me and checked up on me, it's nice to see this community still have some people who think twice before they jump on a hate wagon. In the end, I'm happy Tridnt and Blxppy got unbanned, even if I thought they were sus then, a report is just that, a report, and will never lead to a ban if there isn't enough proof of abuse. (Which it didn't as the bans weren't based on my report!)
