I have dedicated my life to see what the Buddha saw. So far I've been lucky.

The danger is adaptive normalization? It is the gradual adaptation to distortion until distortion feels normal. Not because the distortion is good, not because it is true, but because the organism adjusts its perception in order to survive inside the changing field. It is a truism to say, humans normalize environments faster than they evaluate them. There can be considerable lag. That is why dissymmetry drift is so dangerous. Suppose an organization slowly becomes more dishonest, more fragmented, more ideological, more bureaucratic, more emotionally manipulative. It would hardly be noticed. If this happened instantly, everyone would notice. But if it happens slowly, the nervous system recalibrates. Yesterday’s absurdity becomes today’s procedure.

Revolt Against the Modern World by Julius Evola: The more people acknowledged the ontological rank of what was prior and superior to the visible and temporal dimension, the more such beings were invested with a natural and absolute sovereign power.

Arya Gotra Sutra: Where there is the lineage (gotra) of the Aryan there are no instruction in the moral precepts, nor resources, nor non-resources. Where there is no instructions, no resources, nor non-resources, there is no transcending instructions. Where there is no transcending instructions, there is neither restraint nor rules. Where there is neither restraint nor rules, there is neither practice nor the practice which is no practice. The awakened being does not become immoral; rather, morality ceases to be experienced as compulsion. The Dharma becomes endogenous. Intrinsic. Like light shining by its own nature.

In the near future, the Star-child will not arise from accident, fear, or fragmentation, but from parents joined in divine love. The womb will again become a chamber of symmetry. Pregnancy will cease to be warfare against the body. Birth will unfold without terror. Childhood will no longer be over-managed by anxious civilizations cut off from the field of life itself. Symmetry will begin reclaiming the human form. And quietly, almost unnoticed at first, a new humanity will appear among us.

To first awaken—kenshō in 1969—I had to become fully human. I had to renounce the world of the machine and, more importantly, the machinery of my own cognition. The split of consciousness into subject and object, thinker and thought, had become so total that I mistook the machinery for life itself. What I discovered was not a new belief, but something prior to the split. A symmetry already present before the mind divided the world into fragments. The strange irony is that modern man, having become increasingly mechanical inwardly, now asks what consciousness is while searching from within the very machinery that conceals it.

One day back in the 1960s it dawned on me that all the works by Zen Masters and others were pointing to an attainment of something very profound and deep that was invariant in change/samsara. From that moment on, I made up my mind to realize it. After many years I eventually saw what Gautama saw and directly entered what is called the light/prabhāsa of Mahayana. At 80, nothing that I saw when I was immersed in the light for two weeks will stop what's coming. It is going to reclaim itself to the dismay of those who are attached to dissymmetry. But it will be a great blessing to those who are open to it who have not closed their mind. For initial awakening only comes when the mind is completely open. Give your cat a pet for me!

Spirituality - ie attempting to achieve purposive insight into the totality of existence itself - has no use for God or neural pathways; these are all decorative features of experience & an indication of a failure to grasp it as a totality.

Satori/Kenshō takes the adept beyond anything thought can generate. It is unthinkable, yet more real than thought itself. After many years, I found the closest English approximation: symmetry (invariance) and dissymmetry. Strangely enough, these terms align naturally with modern physics, mathematics, cybernetics, and AI.

The luminous citta, when refracted as vijñāna, enters division. Division becomes multiplication; multiplication becomes form; form becomes attachment; attachment becomes the world of the anicca, duḥkha, anātman — the non-eternal, painful, and insubstantial. The Fall is the darkening of light through diversification. The Path is the return of diversification to light.

The Lankavatara Sutra and the Dunhuang manuscripts discovery opened a window into a much older layer of Chan before the highly systematized Song Dynasty “Zen orthodoxy” hardened into the form most people now recognize. The earliest Chan communities often referred to themselves not as “Zen” in the later Japanese sense, but as the “Lankā School” (楞伽宗). That is enormously significant. Why? Because the Lankavatara Sutra is deeply concerned with, mind-only (cittamātra), intrinsic luminosity, overturning dualistic consciousness, the transformation of vijñāna, tathāgatagarbha, and direct realization beyond conceptual fabrication.

Ten Stages Sutra: Because it is covered over by the layered clouds of the five skandhas, sentient beings do not see it. If you encounter the spiritual wind of wisdom, it blows away the five skandhas. When the layers of clouds are totally gone, the enlightened nature is shining perfectly bright, clear, and pure.

Mahaparinirvana Sutra: The ātman is the Tathagatagarbha. All beings possess a Buddha Nature: this is what the ātman is. This ātman, from the start, is always covered by innumerable passions (klesha): this is why beings are unable to see it.

The Tower of Babel story isn’t just about language; it’s really about misaligned structure. Still, despite their efforts, the tower failed. Because the orientation, to begin with, was dissymmetric. They attempted vertical reach without invariant grounding: Initial transcendence of dissymmetry (which is why Zen Buddhism begins with initial contact with the invariant, kenshō). Stated again, they attempted to achieve symmetry from within dissymmetry, utilizing ego-vectorization. This project always collapses.

Sandhinirmocana Sutra: If ultimate truth and practices had no difference at all, everyone would already see the truth, and everyone would already have attained the highest expedient, tranquil nirvana, or they would have already attained supreme perfect enlightenment. Therefore, it is not right to say either that ultimate truth and practices are no different or that they are completely different. (ib.)

Mahaparinirvana Sutra: Non-Self is Samsara, the Self is the Tathagata; impermanence is the sravaka and pratyekabuddhas, the Eternal is the Tathagata’s Dharmakaya; suffering is all tirthikas, Bliss is Nirvana; the impure is all compounded [samskrta] dharmas, the Pure is the true Dharma that the Buddha and Bodhisattvas have.

So what are you trying to say Evelyn turn the United States or Europe into a huge refuge for homeless people, that is, drug fiends, violent criminals, people who are mentally insane? Are you now just waking up to the fact that life is suffering? Maybe you should think about becoming the mother Theresa of homeless people, you might be surprised how really violent these people are.

Is this what is considered advanced Western civilization? The treatment suffered by homeless people on Western streets is outrageous.😡
