@Adam4d I see from that video that Minneapolis has already instituted a police-free zone. Money saved from the police can be used to restock those stores, then keep the police away so society can function in its own utopia. Or maybe just give the stuff away, a lot easier to clean up.

@Phil_Johnson_ If I had to guess, I think Minneapolis will end up with a drastic city council change in their next election. Or perhaps, this “council of the people” will attempt to do away with voting rights altogether in the city. Sheer lunacy at work.

@drewdyck If there were ever a social notion that needs to be approached slowly and with much caution, this is it. History has often shown that when a societal vacuum is created , it’s often filled by bad people. Really bad people.

Trying to keep an open mind ab new forms of policing & community safety. But one thing that complicates this for me: we have 12 pedophiles (mostly child rapists, all repeat offenders) living 2 blocks from my house & I have 3 young kids. Yes, there is such a thing as a criminal.

Apocalypse update: Washing machine broke today. We were able to find one at a Best Buy about 40 min away in the half-ghetto. Store is closed except for curbside pickup. I ordered online. The employee walking up to cars to ask what people ordered was openly armed. 😐
