@LucyZelic It’s so sad that the club has gone this way. When I created the Womens & girls section we had morales and a drive to bring women & girls into the game! Shocking what they have done now!

Sutton United Women’s Manager ‘Lucy’ Clark - a 51 year-old trans-identified male said in 2022: “At some point we will field a team solely of trans women for the first time in history. How good is that?” What exactly is “good” about excluding women from female divisions of sport again? It’s high-time everyone understood that this has nothing to do with sport and everything to do with “gender identity” and erasing females from their own categories. What more can be said of these blatant injustices that hasn’t already been said? “Shame on you” @EnglandFootball and @FootballAUS - yep, already been said. “We don’t want to play with, or against males?” Been there, done that. “I feel uncomfortable with males in my private spaces and dressing rooms?” Yes, that’s also been mentioned. “I don’t want my daughter who is a minor to compete against much larger and older men.” Sigh, yes that one too. “I am worried I might get injured playing against men.” Innumerable times. “A player’s leg was broken in two places by a trans player.” Tragically, yes this has happened. All of these, and many more, legitimate reasons have been raised with the relevant sporting bodies in both the UK and Australia. For as many times as they have been referenced, they have been ignored in equal measure by the powers-that-be. There is nothing left to say. According to their policies, National Sporting Organisations have a duty of care to all participants, but it has become abundantly clear that what they really mean is their male participants. So much for encouraging women to speak-up in the face of inequity and discrimination. It’s also worth asking if Football Australia's “Gender Equality Action Plan which aims to have 50% gender participation split by 2027” is worth the website it’s written on. You can’t reference gender in this context without acknowledging that what you are trying to say is 50% males and 50% females. If you can’t define what a woman is, or you won’t actively seek to preserve single-sex sporting categories then all of your public posturing about women’s sport is just that - a misleading act. You’re sending a very clear message that women and girls don’t matter to you. The only time they do though, is when you can benefit from their exploits commercially, and use them as financial leverage in your broadcast deals, and to secure government funding. Then all of a sudden you know what a woman is, and the Matildas and female participation figures across the country matter. As Buddha said: “Money is the worst discovery of human life, but it is the most trusted material to test human nature.” Saying that women’s sport matters is one thing but proving it is an entirely different test - both of which @EnglandFootball and @FootballAUS have failed miserably. #SaveWomensSport

Sutton United are a disgrace. They treated the person who gave everything to develop their women's football program like absolute shit... 2022 is when the rot set in. Given how they treated my old mate, then this is no surprise at all. I hope girls & women go elsewhere.

Personally believe that all women and girls games should be postponed this Sunday - how can you stop people from experiencing a World Cup Final. Forcing people to watch it your club house and trying to financial benefit by forcing that environment is not supportive

Will always happen when clubs are run by OAP men who have no diversity or consideration for others. Luton town ladies are a great club and need support from the main club!

It’s 2022 and our game was called off 2 mins before kick off bc they didn’t want to damage the pitch for the men’s training session tomorrow LTLFC were just as fuming as we were but will unfortunately face most of the backlash from this! So much for #hergametoo
