Turkey’s TMO Announces Feed Corn Import Tender TMO will hold a tender on 26 February 2026 for the import of 350,000 MT of feed corn. This tender is expected to have a notable impact on regional corn flows and freight markets.

TMO barley tender for Turkey– final results announced. Prices came in close to initial expectations, with regional and delivery-basis differences clearly reflected. Overall, an interesting tender showing firm market sentiment.

The initial offers received for the TMO barley tender to Turkey are attached. Based on the first offers, it appears that this will be a rather interesting procurement process.

Roma – Dünya Durum Buğdayı ve Makarna Forumu Notlarım Dün Roma’da düzenlenen Dünya Durum Buğdayı ve Makarna Forumunda bir sunum yaptım. Dünyanın birçok yerinden gelen sektör paydaşlarıyla uzun görüşmelerim oldu. Özellikle üzerinde çok konuşulan 8-9konuyu burada paylaşmak istiyorum: 1.Küresel Üretim: Bu yıl dünyada yaklaşık 37 milyon ton durum buğdayı üretimi var. Geçen yıllara göre üretim artmış durumda. 2.Kanada Rekoru: Herkes Kanada’yı konuşuyor. Bu yıl üretimin 7 milyon ton seviyesine ulaşması bekleniyor ki bu da rekor bir miktar. 3.Türkiye’nin Konumu: En çok merak edilen konu Türkiye oldu. “Nasıl oluyor da 350–360 USD/ton gibi yüksek fiyatlardan buğday alıp makarnayı ucuza satabiliyorlar?” diye soruyorlar. 4.Kanada – İtalya Ticareti: Kanada buğdayı, İtalya’ya 310 USD/ton seviyesinden satılıyor. 5.Avrupa Çiftçilerinin Şikâyeti: İtalyan, Yunan ve İspanyol çiftçiler fiyatlardan çok şikâyetçi. •Artan maliyetlere rağmen 230–250 Euro/ton bandındaki fiyatı düşük buluyorlar. •Türk çiftçisinin şanslı olduğunu düşünüyorlar. •Bazı çiftçi kooperatifleri ise Türkiye’deki TMO modelinin kendi ülkelerinde uygulanmasını istiyor. 6.Türkiye’nin Fabrika Yatırımları: Türkiye’de kurulan yeni makarna fabrikaları ve yenilenen tesisler Avrupa’da ciddi bir tehdit olarak görülüyor. Ben de sunumumda açıkça söyledim: 👉 “Pazarlarınızın bir kısmını bize kaybedeceksiniz. Japonya’ya makarna satan bir Türk üretici, her yere satış yapabilir.” 7.TMO’nun Rolü: “TMO ne zaman buğday satışına çıkacak?” diye çok soruldu. Benim cevabım: 👉 “310 USD fiyatlar varken TMO’nun ihaleye çıkmasını uzun süre beklersiniz.” Türkiye’de iç satış fiyatının 355–360 USD/ton olduğuna kimse inanmak istemedi. 8.İthalat – İhracat Dengesi: Türk firmalarının uzun bir aradan sonra Kanada’dan durum buğdayı ithal ettiği konuşuluyor. Birçok kişi “Nasıl oluyor da bir yıl 1,6 milyon ton ihracat yapan ülke ertesi yıl ithalatçı oluyor?” diye merak ediyor. Benim cevabım netti: 👉 “Türkiye dinamik bir ülke; fırsatları iyi değerlendiriyor. Bu esnekliği herkesin anlaması kolay değil.” 9.En Fazla İlgi Gösterenler: Bize en çok soru yöneltenler: •Dünyanın en büyük durum buğdayı üreticisi ve ihracatçısı Kanadalılar, •Dünyanın en büyük makarna üreticisi ve ihracatçısı İtalyanlar oldu.

The harvest of the last sunflower field has also been completed. We are still waiting for rain. We couldn’t sow canola yet. We probably have about a week to ten days left. If the rain doesn’t come, there will be no canola next year.
