What's happening to these Euclid Beach families is classic "urban renewal" (i.e., the wholesale clearing of a low-income or working class area & the displacement of its residents to create business opportunities or housing & amenities for the upper classes).

Lake Erie is heavily privatized by yacht clubs ,industrial enterprises and private beach clubs. EB residents are not apart of that as their section of lakefront doesn’t impede residential access to the lake.

I’m betting all of the people deciding to displace the whole Euclid Beach Mobile Home Park community to make a bigger park, are comfortably housed and may not even live in Cleveland proper. I’m asking the @CityofCleveland to protect your residents, all ~360,000 of us.

This is amazing and so necessary! Hopeful that local operations funding will follow to carry the momentum for better transit in and around cleveland
